What I Have Learnt in Business

by lou lou
This is a personal blog from Louise, our Director.
I woke up one morning and thought to myself, how can I help businesses with the services we offer. I decided to ask a few businesses if I could work with them and see what they have to go through day to day.
These businesses were each in different sectors because I really wanted to see what every one of them faced day to day. I have learnt so much that I feel everyone should have a chance to learn as well.
When I started out my business I got some really good advice from my accountant.
He wished he had made mistakes in the beginning instead of later on. He told me to make as many mistakes now and learn from them.
In the beginning I took it personal that I made a wrong decision, but I remembered what my accountant said and now every mistake is a lesson learnt.
I have learnt who I can trust
I can’t change the world over night
Listen to my accountant more
Have a great business solicitor
How important it is to have a great accountant
Never let the business control you, you control your business
Have fun
You can’t please everyone
Stay humble
Be grateful
Be kind.
Do we support one another enough?
Do you support your friends or families’ business?
Do you support your local businesses?
Do you share their posts?
Business are struggling and lets’ face it we have even tougher times ahead.
Help your local businesses by sharing posts this means a lot to the business owner.
Remember people buy from people
We will always have big businesses with big budgets. Doesn’t matter what business sector you’re in we all have them. Remember though a small business puts more back into this economy than a larger business.
We have different generations
Some want a to meet face to face
Some like to buy from local businesses
Some don’t have time and searches online and buys straight away
These are just a few but we are all different in how we buy.
When you go into a shop, you meet the people that work for the company or you meet the owner, this is all about getting to know you and your business, how was the customer service etc. First impressions account to how your customer feels.
Remember you want your customers to share their time in your shop with friends, family and on social media (this is free advertising)
Same with your social media accounts they want to know who’s behind it. Why would you shop with someone you don’t know?
Video live is great way for existing customers or new customer who you are.
Sharing Images/ photos so customer can meet the team, be honest and share content about your background
People ultimately choose to do business with people they like, and everyone likes someone who appreciates them. … It states, “People will forget what you said. … But people will never forget how you made them feel.”
I would like to thank all the businesses that let me spend time with them following them and learning new things, I loved it and I loved wearing safety boots and trousers. I rocked that look! There input has helped me put together this blog and the previous blogs.
I am so proud of my businesses it’s been just over a year.
It’s been a great year and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
